SoBe Pina Colada

We've heard this is one of the most unhealthy drinks in America, and neither of us are too excited to try it. There is no artificial colors, which means that the white stuff might be milk. Yup, the first four ingredients are water, sugar, milk, and cream. I'm afraid.

Color: It is a smoky white color, which is in no way normal. It looks like water and milk mixed together.. oh, wait, it is! I am preparing for a spittake.

Smell: Suprisingly, I think it does smell like a pina colada. Both the pineapple and the coconut are distinct. Katy thinks it smells like sunblock.

Taste: Well, it actually does taste like a pina colada. I didn't say it was a good pina colada, but it is true to its name. I got the pineapple first, and then the coconut. Yes, you can certainly tell that there is water and milk in here, and that is not good. At all. Katy was pretty close to spitting her sip back in the glass. She was not a fan.

Rating: ***

Katy thought it was a one, but I found it tolerable. I actually thought I was going to hate it. I won't be trying this again soon, but I wouldn't mind. But really? Water and milk?

Vitaminwater Spark Grape+Blueberry

Finally! A beverage that doesn't look terrible. Katy really likes Vitaminwater, so she has high expectations. I always think they are too watery, and not flavorful enough. Grape-blueberry doesn't seem like a natural combo, so I am very interested to see how it does.

Color: Wow! It looks different in the glass than in the bottle. It is straight up pink. Katy thinks it is lavender, but I don't agree. Argument will ensue.

Smell: It smells like the 25 cent gumballs from every supermarket in America. Exactly.

Taste: It actually tastes pretty good. Even though I taste no grape whatsoever, the blueberry is very good and tastes real, not artificial. It almost tastes like Jell-o. It is sweet, but it tastes like fruit sugar, not just added sugar. And I havent even mentioned its high vitamin content!

Rating: ****

Not bad at all. This one broke my stereotype of Vitaminwater being too watery. Odds are, this will be what I reach for the next time I want Vitaminwater. Sorry, lemonade!

AriZona Half Iced Tea & Half Mango

I don't really like iced tea, so the mango better shine here. Although, it is AriZona. That means super sugary. Here goes nothing...

Color:   To be honest, I was expecting an electric orange, but this looks just like iced tea. Wait... hold on... yup, no artificial colors. Got it. Katy is appauding Arizona now, don't ask me why.

Smell:   Very Mango-y. It is so strong that is seems almost like it was mango juice concentrate sprinkled in the mix.

Taste:   Sickeningly sweet. It has absolutely no mango flavor, only a taste remeniscent of gummy peaches. On the bright side for me, I tasted no iced tea whatsoever. There has to be something artificial here, because gummy peach is in no way a natural flavor. Katy is only drinking it now because she is really thirsty.

Rating: **

It had a natural color, the smell was certainly noticable, but the taste was just too artificial to make me want to drink it again. Maybe Arizona was trying to mask the fact that there was no tea by coating my mouth with sugar. I am dissapointed, AriZona. Very dissapointed.
